My mom always used to say, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything.” Probably explains why I’m so quite most of the time. Ha. She also used to say, ” You’re not sick, you’re just sickening,” Gotta love mom. And, my favorite, “When you cut you’re foot off mowing the lawn barefoot, don’t come runnin’ to me.”

My mom always gave me your first quote as well. And I got a lot of variations on “When you ______, don’t come crying…” Thanks for sharing. ๐
